Perhaps in game 4 or 5, the main character, which is a girl, is destined to be the next chosen soul to replace Gaia. She hates her fate and was about to ignore it until she meet the main character. In the end, she fell in love with him but decided to become the next Spirit of the earth. The male character loves her so much that, his spirit turned into the moon too watch over her forever.
